This option comes as standard with the XLT trim and above.

Towing Capabilities
The Ford F-350 is built for towing. As standard, it can pull 13,200lbs, and you can use a variety of trailering assist features. These include onboard scales with Smart Hitch. This estimates the cargo weight for you in real time. Trailer Navigation allows you to optimize your travel routes bases on the dimensions and weight of your trailer.
Using a gooseneck, the F-350 can tow a massive 40,000lbs with a payload of 8,000lbs.
Off-Roading
XL Off-Road Package
The XL Off-Road Package has larger wheels (17-inch) and off-road tires (33-inch) and a rear locking differential to help you navigate difficult terrain. For going through water, there are water fording vent tubes to help protect the drivetrain from moisture.
FX4 Off-Road Package
The FX4 Off-Road Package features specially tuned front and rear shocks and skid plates for when you are tackling the trails, as well as a fuel tank and transfer case. Specifically designed for going down steep descents, the Hill Descent Control driver assist technology will help you to get to the bottom safely.
TREMOR Off-Road Package
The TREMOR Off-Road Package can be paired with either the High Output Power Stroke Turbo Diesel engine or the 7.4-liter V8. It features 35-inch all-terrain tires suspension that is tuned with off-roading in mind. What really sets this package apart, however, is the variety of drive modes that alter the handling depending on the terrain. These include Rock Crawl and Trail Control.
