The 2024 Ranger has four trim levels (XL, XLT, LARIAT, and Raptor), with three reliable and powerful engines offered among them. XL, XLT, and LARIAT models all come with a 2.3-liter I4 that utilizes a turbocharged to generate 270 horsepower alongside 310 pound-feet of torque. The second engine is a 2.7-liter V6 with 400 pound-feet of torque that’s optional for both XLT and LARIAT models.
The third engine, a 405-horsepower 3.0-liter V6, comes exclusively with the off-road-ready Raptor model. This model also comes with standard four-wheel drive (4WD), though you can still opt for it with any of the other model. When going with a 4×4-equipped model, it comes with electronic shift-on-the-fly technology that lets you quickly switch between different 4WD modes at any time.

The truck’s cabin comes with single-zone climate control in XL and XLT models and a dual-zone system in all others, as well as a fold-flat rear seat, intermittent wipers, and front bucket seats. Select models come with power-adjustability and a heating setting for the front seats, an electrochromic auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a heating function. As for seating materials, premium cloth comes in some models and upscale leather trim in others.
