When you have a job to do, the 2024 Ford F-250 won’t let you down. The Super Duty range includes six trim levels, each with unique features to handle different situations. We delve into each model to help you decide which F-250 is the one for you.
Trim Levels of the 2024 Ford F-250
1. XL
First up is the four-wheel drive XL, fitted with a 405 horsepower 6.8-liter V8 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission, making the XL capable of towing up to 17,300 pounds. To help drivers with their load, Ford has equipped the base trim with a range of handy trailering assist features, including a rearview camera, hill start assist, a trailer brake controller, and trailer sway control.
Inside, drivers receive all their important information via a 4.2-inch LCD screen. Infotainment comes in the form of an eight-inch LCD touchscreen and FordPass Connect with a 5G WI-FI hotspot, which lets you connect up to 10 devices.
2. XLT
The XLT swaps the engine for a 7.3-liter V8, delivering 430 horsepower and upping the towing capacity to 18,200 pounds. Driver comfort is given a boost with an eight-way power-adjustable seat. This trim introduces additional safety features, including forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking.
3. LARIAT
Ford gives the LARIAT an external makeover with a bright chrome grille, trailer tow mirrors, and 18-inch machined wheels. Heated and ventilated front seats improve comfort up front, while dual-zone automatic climate control sets the perfect cabin temperature.
Both the driver information hub and the infotainment touchscreen expand to 12-inch displays and the sound system is upgraded to a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen system. Also introduced are a 360-degree camera, trailer reverse guidance, and cross-traffic alerts for safer trailering.
4. King Ranch
The King Ranch has a distinctive Western feel with its two-tone coloring and 20-inch bright machine-cast wheels. Inside, you’re greeted with leather seating and an antique effect leather-wrapped heated steering wheel mounted on a power tilting and telescopic steering column. A power tailgate and tailgate steps make loading easier, and drivers receive additional assistance from a down camera and rear park-aid sensors.
5. Platinum
Opt for the Platinum, and you’ll receive a more refined vehicle with a satin aluminum grille and black onyx leather upholstery. And, if you often find yourself in thick fog, LED fog and projector lights will help illuminate the road ahead.
6. Limited
Leading the pack is the Limited, with its plush admiral blue and light slate leather upholstery and a handy moonroof that lets in natural light and fresh air. Rear passengers receive heated seats, while the 10-way adjustable driver seat and eight-way adjustable front passenger seat are the height of luxury.
