With a stylish, modern design, strong engine performance, and high-tech entertainment and driver-assist features, the 2025 Ford Explorer is now here at our dealership boasting all the following features that separate it from other full-size SUVs.

Reliable Engine Performance

Offering plenty of strong performance, this edition of the Explorer gives you two engine options to choose from, depending on which of its four trim levels you opt for. The base engine is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4 that generates 300 horses, a potent amount of output for tackling most challenges. The other engine, a 3.0-liter V6, boosts output to 400 horses and comes with the ST trim, which also features paddle shifters and a sport-tuned suspension for more thrills.

Versatile and Ready to Tow

While rear-wheel drive comes standard, there’s an available Intelligent 4WD system that can automatically calibrate itself to your surroundings when traversing over different terrains. When opting for this, you also get a convenient terrain management system that has a wide range of optimized performance and traction modes to toggle through. Also providing impressive towing strength, this SUV can pull up to 5,000 pounds thanks to the included Class III Trailer Tow Package.

Comfort Meets Convenience

With three rows of seating, this SUV has power-adjustable, heated front seats that also offer a ventilation function and Active Motion massage in some trim levels. Heated second-row seats are also available for many trims, as is a heated steering wheel, and the third-row seats have a convenient 50/50 split-folding design to accommodate both passengers and cargo.

Sophisticated Tech Features

New for this edition, the Ford Digital Experience is a standard infotainment system that has a full-color touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones among its many features and functions. Other standard tech highlights include AM/FM stereo with MP3 compatibility, a 12.3-inch color instrument cluster, and multiple 12-volt outlets for charging devices, while a premium B&O audio system with 14 speakers, including a subwoofer, and a wireless charging pad for smartphones are available.

Next-Level Driver Assistance

Also offering innovative technology are this edition’s many standard driver-assist features, which include BLIS (Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane-Keeping System, Intersection Assist 2.0, the Rear View Camera, and Reverse Parking Assist. Every model also comes with Pre-Collision Assist, which itself is bundled with Automatic Emergency Braking, Pedestrian Detection, and Forward Collision Alert, and if a collision does happen to occur, there’s also standard Post-Collision Braking to help prevent secondary collisions.
