Bold exterior stripes, 17-inch Ebony Race Red-painted wheels, and a silver-painted grille with two-color BRONCO lettering set the Free Wheeling model apart, while the Outer Banks stands out with its 18-inch machined-face aluminum wheels and a Shadow Black roof. The Badlands trim features metal bash plates and 17-inch Carbonized Gray-painted wheels with all-terrain tires to complete its capable exterior.

Two new exterior colors have been added to the lineup: Velocity Blue Metallic and Ruby Red Metallic. The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport features compact dimensions, standing 70.4 inches tall for 1.5-liter engine models and 71.5 inches for the 2.0-liter versions. Its width measures 82.2 inches, and the length varies slightly, with 1.5-liter models at 173.1 inches and 2.0-liter variants at 173.4 inches. Ground clearance is 8.8 inches when equipped with all-terrain tires.

The base 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, available in Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, and Outer Banks trim levels, produces 180 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque. The Badlands trim gets the more powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, generating 238 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. Both engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission for smooth power delivery.

All 2025 Ford Bronco Sport models include standard all-wheel drive, with Badlands and Sasquatch-equipped Outer Banks trims receiving an advanced 4x4 system with a twin-clutch rear drive unit. The Bronco's Terrain Management system with its G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any type of Terrain) modes system adapts vehicle performance for various conditions, with Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Off-Road modes standard on all trims. Badlands models add rock crawl and rally modes for additional capability. Towing capacity varies by engine choice, with 1.5-liter models rated at 2,200 pounds and the 2.0-liter Badlands reaching 2,700 pounds. The Bronco Sport handles water fording up to 24 inches deep, preparing it for serious off-road adventures.

The most notable changes include a new 13.2-inch touchscreen with SYNC 4 software and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The five-passenger interior provides 32.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, expanding to 65.2 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, along with six USB ports for connectivity. Optional features include wireless device charging, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a moonroof.
